My Story.

My journey started in the early web, when I co-founded a small studio and spent a decade building e-commerce platforms and custom CMSs for clients, and mentoring the developers who joined us.

From there I ran engineering for digital agencies: four platforms on one infrastructure, an award-winning music-distribution product, and a banking data sync that moved a client onto AWS.

Then I co-founded an AI startup and led it as CTO. Retrieval-augmented generation, LLM pipelines, predictive matching, and a platform that grew to 84,000+ users under SOC 2 Type II.

Most recently I led a small team as tech lead in EdTech, shipping a React Native app and Node.js backend while modernizing the stack underneath it. These days I write software with AI every day, and I still love what I do! 💜

My Experience.

    CTO @ an AI startup

    CTO & co-founder

    Architected retrieval-augmented generation: high-dimensional vector search, adaptive semantic chunking, and cross-lingual English/French embedding alignment.

    Designed compliance-guarded LLM pipelines that extract constraints, classify intent, and validate grounding before anything ships.

    Scaled the platform from zero to 84,000+ users under SOC 2 Type II, owning architecture, security, and engineering hiring.

    Directed a government-funded applied-AI research program across LLM systems, retrieval, computer vision, and predictive modelling.

    Tech Lead @ an EdTech platform

    Tech lead

    Led the team building a new React Native app and Node.js backend, writing production code daily.

    Modernized the legacy stack, set coding standards, and paid down technical debt to speed up delivery.

    Shipped OAuth 2.0 single sign-on and a Kafka + ClickHouse analytics pipeline for learning records.

    Made AI-assisted development (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) part of how the team ships.

    Owned technology strategy and architecture for the platform build-out.

    Stood up cloud infrastructure and data integrations to support product growth.

    The team and technology became the foundation of the AI startup I went on to co-found.

    Built an automated Go data-sync service between Oracle and MySQL integrating with a core banking system.
